The 117th Recon Platoon also includes cavalry units to province reconnaissance, security, and forward observing duties.
Modeling notes: These were my biggest modeling challenge. The horses were from Empire outrider sets. The riders are composed of the Praetorian torsos and boots. I had to sculpt new legs from a sausage of green stuff and add the boots on the end. The spears are brass rod with goblin spearheads and green stuff tassels.
